BPS-Solutions announces release of COSA BPM 5.7Pulheim, May 2009. BPS-Solutions GmbH has released version 5.7 of its COSA BPM Suite. Focus of the latest product release is new functionality in the area of process analysis, process design and documentation. This underlines the company's strategy in the direction of Process Intelligence, the evaluation of process key data to improve business efficiency. The new release 5.7 of the COSA BPM Suite provides fundamental extensions of the Process Designer. In process descriptions users now may refer to external sources such as documents and data. Preliminary prepared work instructions or process information can easily be integrated in the process model. The layout of the process documentation can be adapted individually and, based on templates, be prepared to support different needs such as ISO certifications and technical specifications. Furthermore, BPS-Solutions GmbH extended the COSA Control Station, the dashboard for operational management. The control station of release 5.7 no longer only displays historical data but also provides forecasts e.g. concerning milestones and process duration. By means of the new Control Station it is possible for example to recognize at a very early stage of development if a legal deadline can still be respected or if escalation measures should be taken already before the deadline has expired.
